BD Projects is looking for a full-time, skilled and experienced Fibrous Plasterer – Dry Wall Plasterer to join our team.

To be considered for this role, the candidate should have:

- At least 3 years of relevant, hands-on experience as a Dry Wall Plasterer and own tools

- Be a Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have full working rights in Australia

- Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining preferred but not essential

- Ability to liaise with clients in a professional and friendly manner

Duties include:

- Determining plasterboard layout, measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard

- Preparing surfaces

- Mixing plaster ingredients

- Position plasterboard panels and fix them accordingly to walls and ceilings

- Covering all joints and holes with wet plaster mixture and sealing compound

- Constructing and fixing suspended ceilings, partition walls and fire rated plasterboard systems

- Fixing acoustic tiles, composite wall linings, cornices and decorative mouldings to ceiling

- Install wall insulation

The right candidate must be able to lift plasterboard panels and perform tasks that involve combination of lifting, bending and standing. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity which requires a skilled and experienced Dry Wall Plasterer who can commit to full-time work and grow with company.
