Full Job Description
Apprentice For Plaster Faster Melbourne Currently seeking an individual to join the Plaster Faster team.
Working with qualified and skilled plasterers you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. We specialise in all aspects of plastering and plaster repairs including renovations, commercial sites and new homes.
Duties will involve:
Use solid plastering tools and equipment
Fix standard plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
Fix battens, wet area sheets, fibre cement board
Prepare surfaces for plastering
Apply basic levelling procedures
To be successful you will need to have the following:Must have:
Be a confident communicator
A high level of attention to detail
Motivated with a genuine interest in the plastering industry
Be trustworthy and reliable
Preferred but not essential:
Previous experience in plastering desirable
A white card
Car and licence (if you can meet at pick up points)
Own tools
Within this role you will complete a plastering apprenticeship and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
We are open to 1st, 2nd & 3rd year apprentices, please include a cover letter with your application of how you meet the above criteria and why you would like to start a career in plastering.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
