The Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Support Engineer to establish themselves as a crucial member within the team. You will be joining a dynamic group and your main responsibility will be to provide remote and onsite support for a wide range of companies, along with providing solution designs, monitoring and maintenance. 

Working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing IT Support Assistance to a range of clients;
  • Working within a dispatched calendar;
  • Remote and on-site field repairs, implementations, and projects for clients;
  • Implementing new computer systems & solutions for clients;
  • Taking care of system maintenance across our client base;
  • Assisting the team with project delivery;
  • Accurately documenting work performed;
  • Liaising with Customers/Clients &
  • Installing printers, PC’s, laptops, servers, and network devices for clients.
To be successful for this great opportunity you will have:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a 2nd level IT Support role;
  • Experience assisting SMB’s;
  • A solutions-focused attitude & ability to think laterally to solve tricky issues;
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems;
  • Must have a driver's license.
Technical Experience:
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V and VMWare;
  • Good knowledge of Google Apps and Office 365;
  • Experience with Shadow Protect and Veeam;
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange Online;
  • Solid experience with Windows 8, 10, 2012, 
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Solid experience with Active Directory;
  • Sound understanding of networking technologies including WAN, VPN, Firewalls and TCP / IP;
  • Industry qualifications will be highly regarded;
  • Understanding of PC and server hardware components &
  • Knowledge of ConnectWise will be advantageous.
