Trainee/Junior Draftsperson

FSCI focuses on a large scope of commercial projects from the retail, corporate, construction and hospitality sectors. We are looking for a young, eager AutoCAD Draftsperson to work in a fast paced environment, delivering a wide range of drawings, as well as becoming familiar with Microvellum and implementing the use of Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering 2D detail drawings for manufacturing
• Liaising with Directors, Project Managers, Architects and other Designers to ensure the accuracy of design drawings
• Preparation of documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
• Liaising with a range of stakeholders in a professional and productive manner by phone, email or face to face
• Eager to learn Microvellum and produce Joinery Shop Drawings
• Other duties as directed.

The successful candidate shall possess the following skills and attributes:

• It would be beneficial but not essential for the successful applicant to have a working knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Attend to all tasks in a reliable and punctual manner
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Courteous and confident phone manner
• Desire to learn.
