Landscaper Leading Hand
We are a landscape design and construction company who construct high-end residential landscaping projects in the Perth metro area. For more than 14 years we have been designing and building award-winning landscape projects and were awarded 'Residential Designer of the Year' at the 2018/19 Landscape Industries Association Awards.

Job Details

  • You will be required to lead a small team (yourself and 1-2 other labourers) and construct landscape projects. This position is hands-on and physically demanding- meaning you must be physically and mentally prepared for this position.
  • You will ideally have qualifications in horticulture (Landscaping) or atleast 5 years experience in landscape construction- highly competent installing all aspects of hardscapes and softscapes.
  • You must be able to install the following to a high standard: Paving, blockwork and limestone, brickwork and footings (planter boxes and screen walls etc), timber decking/screens/benches, setting site levels and using laser level, reading and interpreting plans, soil improvement and plant knowledge, reticulation (installation of full systems and wiring of solenoids etc), artificial turf, real turf, garden lighting, decorative stone cladding and experience with machinery and Dingo operation.
  • You must possess strong communication skills, excellent ability to liaise with clients and subcontractors on a daily basis and good problem solving skills.
  • You will be proficient with running a project on site, measuring and ordering materials and coordination of sub-contractors.
  • You must be efficient and motivated and work within allowed time schedules for each task, and install projects to the highest standard.
  • You must have a current White Card.
  • You must have a current WA manual drivers license (company vehicle will be provided as part of your package).
This position will be rewarding; you will be installing innovative and customized projects and you will be given the chance to be a part of a small close-knit team. Package

This position is full-time including company vehicle and fuel, superannuation and leave entitlements. Above Award rate including company vehicle.

Average hrs per week is 45, generally Monday - Friday, however some Saturday work may be required. Flexibility with working hours essential.

Vehicle: A company vehicle will be supplied (Hilux trayback) along with trailer required to be towed and stored in a safe place at employees address.

Holidays: 4 weeks per year paid holidays including leave loading pay, public holidays and sick leave entitlements.

We build 90% of our designs, meaning you will get to build different elements each day such as roof structures, brickwork, customised timber work and work alongside our subcontracting team of pool builders to create amazing projects.
