About the business
Master Class Cabinets specialises in the manufacture and installation of quality custom made cabinetry. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker, with relevant industry experience, to join our small but growing team based in Forrestdale.
This is a full-time position involving factory and some onsite work. The business mainly produces kitchens, Laundries & Vanities but often does jobs involving all other aspects of cabinetry, offering variety in the role. A competitive salary will be offered based on skills and experience
The role includes but not limited to:
- Manufacture of custom cabinetry using modern Cabinet Vision and CNC equipment, as well as panel saw and edge banding machine
- Assemble custom cabinetry components
- Install cabinetry on site
- Working in a small factory team and autonomously, reporting to the Production Manager
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:
- Cert III in Cabinet Making
- Experience in custom cabinet manufacturing, assembling and installation
- Must be able to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Must have a great eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills, friendly and approachable
- Adhere to timeframes to meet work schedules
- Be punctual and well-mannered with a positive attitude
- Has their own basic tools and reliable transport
- Experience using CNC machine (preferred but not essential - opportunity to learn)
- Leading hand, supervisor or foreman experience (not essential but will be highly regarded)
Licenses:
- Current Driver's License (required)
- Blue/White Card (preferred/not essential)
- Forklift Licence (preferred/not essential)

About the role
The successful candidate will need to be able to operate a CNC router and Edgebander, manufacture of custom cabinetry and installation. Polyurethane painting is a plus but not desirable.
