Hays is working with an award winning mid-tier civil contractor whop specialises in various government stimulus, shared pathway, bridge and small roadwork packages. This client is after a competent Excavator Operator to work across multiple projects.

Your new role
The bulk of this role will require operation of up to 20T Diggers, no day will be the same. When not in the excavator there will be opportunity to work on the ground assisting the company in storm water pipe work, bridge upgrades and small roadworks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience on various excavator projects (VOC's)
• Able to perform bulk and detailed excavation.
• GPS experience preferred but not essential
• PPE (long sleeve, long pants, hard hat, hi vis & steel cap boots)
• Hardworking attitude and ability to work 6 days a week
• White Card and Asbestos Awareness
