Summary

We are looking for a person to join DesignInc Sydney and work on some exciting new projects in our Landscape Team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and driven individual to assist the senior management team to manage, co-ordinate, communicate and design a series of landscape projects from inception to completion.

For this role we are happy to offer either a permanent contract position, or are fixed term contract position depending on the successful candidates’ requirements, contact us to learn more!

The Role

We are looking for a full time Senior Landscape Architect with 8+ years’ experience to join our growing Landscape team in Sydney. You will be part of a dynamic team environment, under the supervision of the Principal Landscape Architect. The successful applicant will be assisting the senior management team and should be able to liaise with other building and design professionals, work on multiple projects and have good time management skills. You be able to work independently or as part of a team as required. Revit skills are not required but preferrable.

This is a 'hands on' role and we need a real team player with a positive attitude to take on each new task, no matter how big or small.

The salary being offered is dependent on experience but will range between $80,000-$100,000 + superannuation.

To be successful in the role you will have/be:

  • Tertiary qualification in landscape architecture
  • Working towards AILA registration
  • High competency in landscape architectural drawings/sections/details
  • Excellent eye for detail and design resolution/proportion
  • Aspire to great design
  • Software competency (Advanced Level): AUTOCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Flexible work practices and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Collaborative team player
  • Able to multi task with high level of attention to detail
