How You’ll Make a Difference…

The Operations, Monitoring, Software & Infrastructure (OMSI) team are the eyes and ears of the run time environment. They are responsible for monitoring all alerts 24 x 7, actioning as needed, and escalating where appropriate to the other teams. They are the 1st line for SaaS incidents as well as ongoing SaaS performance. They directly interface with the Support and Enhance team as well as being deeply integrated with R&D for complex problems.

OMSI is also responsible for Infrastructure and software deployments, service requests, and operating under Standard Operating procedures.

As a SaaS Production Engineer, you’ll deliver seamless incident, problem, change, release, and deployment management on the SaaS Production Platform. This includes working in alignment with ITIL/ISO 20000 operational principles.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Delivering operational technical support of the Production SaaS Platform within the defined operational framework
  • Scheduling, coordinating, and deploying software and infrastructure updates as per the deployment process
  • Managing and owning specific incidents/problems and service requests which may be allocated to you
  • Providing support as required to the wider R&D teams for any software related incidents/problems on the SaaS production platform
  • Providing feedback to automation teams for continuous product and service improvement
  • Working with the support teams to drive incidents related to software deployment through to resolution within SLA
  • Delivering any SaaS Production Engineering projects as required
  • Collaborating efficiently & effectively with other Production Engineering tiers, the wider SaaS teams as well as R&D, Support and Enhance, and TechnologyOne’s major partners
  • Continually challenging the status quo and drive enhancements of software design
  • Ensuring systems, processes, and costs are continually managed and reviewed to identify the way to reduce costs and improve our efficiencies


Your talents…
  • Solid technical experience relating to Microsoft Server, SQL, IIS, PowerShell, and AWS technologies
  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively and maturely communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with stakeholders across all levels
  • Demonstrable expertise in presenting to and across a diverse stakeholder audience
  • Experience of successfully and effectively working in a team support role
