Job Summary/Introduction

Immediate opportunity for experienced Level 1 & 2 ASP Estimators to join growing Civil Construction Company in Sydney's Inner West


About the Client

My client is a privately owned, Civil Engineering construction company located in Sydney’s Inner West. Servicing Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney regions across Level 1 service providers, Private and Public Sector and Tier 1 & 2 companies. Due to the company’s outstanding reputation and subsequent growth they are now in search of qualified and experienced Level 1 & 2 ASP Estimators to join their rapidly expanding team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participating in the management of tenders and bids.
• Producing tenders from $50k to $2 million in value.
• Developing lump sum pricing/BOQ’s on a range of utility projects.
• Developing program of tenders while allowing for safe construction methods and risk management.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Assist with the development of new business and increasing client base through developing the company name with new and existing clients, ensuring repeat business.

Skills & Experience

• Degree Qualified in Engineering or similar.
• Level 1 & 2 ASP Estimating experience is essential for this role.
• Tender and bid management experience.
• Experience with large scale civil excavation projects.
• Proven experience in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years Australian exerpience.
• Electrical asset relocations and other electrical including streetlighting, kiosk and pad mount substations and underground transmission and distribution.
• A strong work ethic and excellent time management and organisation skills.
• Current Drivers Licence
