About you
We are keen to hear from hydraulics & fire services designers who are looking for their next career move. You will have at least 3-4 years of relevant industry experience in hydraulic services design. Ideally, you’ll be degree qualified and have experience in fire sprinkler and detection design.

You will ideally have:

  • The proven ability to work with limited supervision in your area of responsibility.
  • A knack at remaining motivated and fostering team spirit at times when meeting project deadlines,
including assisting others with their work and ensuring that high-quality designs are produced.
  • Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in civil/mechanical engineering or similar area preferred, however we will consider applications from non-degreed backgrounds with relevant experience.
  • Relevant industry experience in fire and hydraulics design within a consulting business environment.
  • Effective written communication and report writing skills.
  • Good computer and Revit skills and passion for high-quality design is essential.
About the role

With a focus on Hydraulics and Fire Services, we are currently seeking a self-starting engineer to undertake design, documentation and consulting services within the Building Services team. In this role you will:
  • Providing detailed hydraulics design and calculations, drawing, specification across a broad range of buildings projects and multidisciplinary services coordination.
  • Be required to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve holistic design excellence.
  • Assist others with their work and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • With a keen eye for detail, you take pride in ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work.
  • Represent your team or area at internal meetings and you may be responsible for organising events, activities or small internal business projects.

Salary for the role will be approximately 70,000-80,000 (base+super) plus profit share dependant on experience.
