We are expanding our Managed Services capability Nationwide. We are actively looking for an experienced level 1/2 Desktop Support Engineer to join our team based in Adelaide

Your Duties And Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and managing service desk incidents and requests
  • Responding to and resolving technical issues from being initial point of contact, diagnosing the issue and resolution.
  • Providing phone based, on-site and remote support.
  • Reducing the volume of incidents by identifying and eliminating root cause through the pro-active problem management process
  • Continuing to learn, develop and upskill on the latest technologies

  • Your Skills And Experience Should Include

  • In depth experience managing and supporting Microsoft based environments – particularly desktop environments, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, printers, peripherals, and line of business applications.
  • Experience supporting Apple iPhones, iPads, and Macs.
  • Strong experience deploying, configuring, and managing desktop / notebook hardware, smart phones, and tablets.
  • Demonstrable experience in supporting and administering Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience administering Active Directory and provisioning of user accounts.
  • Experience using Microsoft SCCM to deploy and manage applications. Packaging capability would be well regarded.
  • Installing and supporting desktop applications.
  • Experience with desktop patch management and change management processes.
  • Experience working at a Service Desk and an understanding of ITIL processes.
  • A strong desire to learn more about Cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent technical documentation skills.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • As Part Of Your Technical Experience And Knowledge, You Must Be Able To Demonstrate In-depth Knowledge In At Least Four Of The Following Technologies

  • Microsoft Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft System Center

  • Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility to adjust shift when required
  • Means of transport as various site visits will be required
  • Participate in a rotating on-call roster system and availability to undertake support work outside of normal business hours from time to time
  • Ability to clear an Australian Federal Police Check
