JOB DESCRIPTION
Site Supervisor: ($65,000 - $95,000)
Role and Responsibilities
· Managing and organising materials, trades and labourers for commercial projects
· Proven ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications
· Organising site set-out
· Ensure Quality Assurance
· Successfully run projects with hands on capabilities
· Always have safety at the forefront of your mind and ensure site cleanliness and a positive representation of the builder’s brand
· Supporting the implementation of the project quality, WHS and environmental management plans on all projects.
· Ensure procedures are implemented to eliminate injury to workers, visitors, the general public, as well as to prevent damage to property
· Assist in the project risk assessments as well as workplace and task hazard id, risk assessments and controls (JSA/SWMS)
· Lead by example in the identification and rectification of hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts
· Carry out incident investigations, formal inspections of the workplace and task observations
· Plan and direct the work in such a manner that the Project Integrated Management Systems Plan and statutory requirements are met or exceeded
· Ensure that daily pre-start meetings are held in every instance
· Facilitate toolbox talks and safety discussions as required and in accordance with project meeting schedule
· Ensuring materials are procured in advance of the requirements of the construction program.
· Assisting in monitoring daily work activities to maximise the utilisation of plant and resources.
· Implementing improvements with respect to managing site related costs.
· Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
Skills and experience
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in Site Supervision
· Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision) or equivalent
· Procore experience an advantage
· Current First Aid & CPR
· Well-developed communication skills
· Ability to interpret plans and drawings
· Management and leadership ability
· Problem-solving ability
· Able to manage and run a project.

Job Duties:
- Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for the team
- Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
- Work with key stakeholders (e.g. owners, developers, contractors) to ensure project completion within budget and deadlines
- Manage procurement, tendering and bidding processes
- Liaise with local authorities to submit plans and arrange inspections
