Join a major projects team to deliver this business critical brownfield project. We are excited to be partnering with a multi-national mining company to source a Construction/ Lining Supervisor to oversee the rehabilitation and closure of one of Australia’s tailings storage facilities.

This is a FIFO client-side role, flying to a remote mine site in the Northern Territory doing night shifts. You will be engaged on an even time 14 nights on 14 nights off roster giving ever sought-after work-life balance.

Accountabilities:

• Acts as a safety leader and HSE champion within the project environment
• Can effectively assist the Construction Superintendent in the implementation of the project execution plan.
• Guides, inspires, and motivates team members and other project stakeholders to manage and overcome issues to effectively achieve project outcomes.
• Actively engages and builds cross-functional relationships with operations, projects, services and other site groups and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Leading a sub-contractor workforce to ensure projects are meeting budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Supervises and challenges the day-to-day activities of site contractors, ensuring they abide by the requirements of the operations area in which they are working.

About You:

• 10+ years of construction supervision with the mining, energy or heavy industrial sectors
• Project execution experience with HDPE lining, rehabilitation, or tailings related projects
• Demonstrated sub-contractor management experience in remote locations
• Strong safety leadership experience
• Prepared to do nights shifts for 14 days straight
