Remuneration Range : $140,000 - $150,000 (plus super)

Role accountabilities and individual attributes:
Accountabilities:
- Build and maintain a trusted partnership and coaching relationship with operations teams to drive the implementation of agreed safety initiatives and strategies
- Provides expert and relevant safety advice and support the Regional Operational Leadership teams on strategies to embed safety leadership, initiatives, culture and improved standards in the workplace
- Responsible for leading, monitoring and reporting on incident investigations ensuring a consistent approach is applied across the region and escalation processes are adhered to
- Educate and coach operations leadership teams about the safety strategy and work plan to ensure there is appropriate commitment and support to enable its execution
- Work in partnership with Security team to ensure Health & Safety and Security risk is appropriately managed
- Qualifications in OHS
- Previous experience in a operational HSE role within high risk industries (logistics, manufacturing, utilities etc)
- A working knowledge of Australian workplace health and Safety legislation, regulations, standards
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Well organised, able to manage time effectively in an environment competing priorities with varying deadlines
- Solid stakeholder management skills, able to engage and build relationships across the organisation
- Able to engage, coach and mentor team members to drive a proactive safety culture
- Resilient and outcomes focussed
- Have a continuous improvement mentality
- Must be comfortable rolling up their sleeves
