About you:

You will bring substantial experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud design and operations and substantial knowledge of IT Agile development practices. You will also have experience in Windows operating system, SQL database, Full Stack DevOps experience and Infrastructure as Code experience. Experience working on teams in geographically dispersed and virtual environment is highly advantageous.

Experiences in the below skills are highly desirable, as well:

  • Automation, CI/CD, automated testing
  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems experience
  • Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, Aurora RDS
  • Microsoft Azure services such as VM's, VHD's, Blob, File System, Backup storage services, Resource Management and groups, vNets, subnets and security groups, including serverless services offered by Microsoft
  • Scripting experience with Python, json, powershell or .yaml
  • Familiarity with industry cloud systems, processes, and tool sets, including AWS
  • ITIL and Agile Methodology

Your responsibilities will include:

Become part of Lockheed Martin's cutting-edge Hybrid Cloud First initiative! This is a fast-paced, dynamic work environment serving the needs of our Customers across every Lockheed Martin Business Area.

This Full Stack Engineer Senior position will be a member of a Cloud DevOps Product team within the Lockheed Martin Enterprise IT (EIT) Infrastructure & International Digital Delivery (I2D2) Product organization. The position will be responsible for the test, build, design, deployment and operations for the continuous integration and delivery of cloud product and services.

As our Full Stack Engineer Senior, you are responsible for the design, build, deployment, and configuration management for the work generated by a dev-ops Scrum team to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product. Most work will be in support of Lockheed Martin's "Hybrid Cloud First" strategy, which includes a significant shift towards Microsoft Azure Cloud platforms and potentially other cloud services providers. Other responsibilities would include:
  • Work closely with team members, Product Owner and stakeholders to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security and ensure services are in alignment with customers' expectations.
  • Stay current with Microsoft Azure and other vendor offerings and the general market for current and potential products and services offered by the Cloud@LM organization.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
  • Advance integration and foundational processes to drive process and cost efficiencies within Cloud platforms and service offerings.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Execution of service provisioning to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements and report against infrastructure Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Analyse code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
  • Promote adherence to corporate infrastructure processes, procedures, and standards; Change Management, Disaster Recovery /Business Continuity Plan, (DR/BCP), and Security / Government regulatory compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and educate team members and co-workers on development and operations
  • Establish a culture of ownership and accountability for Cloud success across all levels of the Cloud@LM Product organization both operationally and fiscally.
- Take an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals. * Work with team on backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
