An international developer of solar energy projects currently delivering a national program of projects in 3 States
The Role
The Senior Civil Engineer will;
- Coordinate and review the designs of local engineering consultancies
- Work closely with the construction crews in the field to ensure the buildability of the designs and amend where required
- Manage all civil design to ensure delivery to budget and schedule
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Accredited CPEng
- Accredited RPEQ
- 1o + years’ experience as a civil engineer, including management of complex construction projects, preferably in the Solar industry
- Understanding of commercial drivers in design
- Experience in finding cost effective solutions/designs
- Knowledge of OHS issues relevant to work activities and work location.
- Experience in contractual documentation and technical specifications.
- Knowledgeable of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical constructability within renewable energy plants
- Knowledge of regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with the other functions in the business
- Report directly to the Regional EPC Manager
- Enjoy collaborative relationships with external consultancies and the internal construction team
