Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division is recruiting for a Contract Administrator / Project Controls experience to join the Cost Management team.

Working within a dynamic, innovative, and highly successful team and reporting to the relevant project Director, you will work on current key projects in Melbourne.

Job Description

  • Attend project meetings as arranged
  • Review working drawings for compliance with the approved budget of construction cost and or financial viability
  • Validate work package budgets established by the CM
  • Assess and validate work package tender recommendations prepared by the CM
  • Carry out monthly valuations with the CM and make payment certification recommendations
  • Undertake quantum checks of material deliveries to site
  • Assess the cost impact of change management and make recommendations
  • Assess the cost impact of valid claims and make recommendations
  • Undertake quantitative (cost) assessment of risk
  • Input to the monthly reporting process
  • Close out cost accounts and generate final accounts for the project
  • Generally support the Construction Manager during the project

  • A recognised Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • MRICS / AIQS accreditation ideal or working towards
  • Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Pharmaceutical / Life Science experience advantageous
  • Strong construction knowledge advantageous
  • Proficient in the use of CostX advantageous
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills
  • Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently
  • Excel expertise
