The Opportunity

Due to anticipated growth, we are currently looking to engage a Civil Designer to join our Brisbane team.

Our Civil Property Development team are a specialist group renowned for their innovation in civil engineering and cutting-edge delivery methodologies across complex building, land development and infrastructure projects, with offices right across Australia in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Perth and Darwin. A Typical Day For You

  • Assisting in timely delivery of project and civil engineering work in support of relevant technical and regulatory standards;
  • Contributing to quality project delivery through the provision of accurate and quality design;
  • Communicating effectively with all external and internal stakeholders, and;
  • Embodying enthusiasm to work with a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

What We'll Love About You
  • Advanced Diploma of Civil Engineering;
  • 3 to 5+ years’ industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • Well versed in effectively delivering quality design solutions on multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector, e.g. commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads;
  • Familiarity with relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.);
  • Strong proficiency with 12D and/or Civil 3D;
  • Track record of effectively handling competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines;
  • Capacity to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, right throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment as required, and;
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
