Technical Architect- Fenergo

HCL in ANZ is focused in providing software-led IT solutions, Enterprise and Applications Consulting, remote infrastructure management, BPO services and IT Hardware and Systems Integration with offices based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland & Wellington.

Location- Melbourne

Salary: AUD 175,000 – 185,000

Technical Architect is responsible for designing the fast, secure, scalable and maintainable applications that will make us stand out from the crowd by ensuring the quality and enabling Company employees to do their work effectively.

  • Writing complex programming logic, doing impact analysis, program debugging, performance tuning, design and development of product components.
  • Leading the design and development teams in an onshore/offshore model and trained and mentored team members.
  • Translate business requirement into technical solutions and provide leadership during the analysis, design and build.
  • Create solution architectures and technical specifications for integrating multiple systems in complex environments.
  • Interacting with customers in understanding the functional and non-functional requirements, defect management and offshore/onsite coordination.
  • Assisting tribe architects and business analysts for the implementation of business requirement into application solution.
  • Providing detailed design and development estimates for new work and change requests.
  • Writing impact assessment document for product customization and design document for new modules.
  • Troubleshooting production application issues, providing support and clarifications.
  • Involve in all Software Development cycles and providing inputs in various phases of the project.
  • Researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating business requirement and writing programs based on it.

Education Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • At least 10+ years of related experience in the following technologies:
    • .NET/Java development, e.g. Visual Studio, Eclipse, or other IDE experience
    • Drools , Camunda workflow, JSON , React JS
    • SQL Server or Oracle DB, XML
    • Source Control e.g. TFS, Git, Mercurial, etc
    • Web Servers, e.g. IIS, Apache, etc.
  • Strong problem identification and problem solving skills
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and can work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience from the financial services/banking will be advantageous
