Clarke Energy is a multinational power generation solutions company with its Australasian headquarters based in Adelaide. As one of the fastest growing power generation companies in the South Pacific, and due to continued growth across the region, they are now entering a very exciting, long term period of business growth which provides new opportunities across both their EPC and their Operations & Maintenance business units.

We now seek to employ a Site Manager on a permanent, full time basis for a body of work in Newman, WA. The company are interviewing immediately for this position

Reporting to the Site Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for achieving on site project objectives for safety, environment, communication, quality, costs and time.

Key elements of the Site Manager role:

  • Oversee all works on site & promote Incident and Injury Free (IIF) at every opportunity.
  • Coordination with the client representative onsite to ensure the clients operations are not affected.
  • Engagement of suppliers and sub-contractors in line with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the plant is constructed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
  • Understand and continually demonstrate compliance with all rules and regulations.

The successful Site Manager will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical / Structural Engineering / Trade background
  • FIFO experience – proven track record in managing people and projects in an industrial environment to achieve objectives in quality, time, safety environment management and cost
  • Effective evaluation, analytical, written and communication skills
  • Valid Drivers Licence & Construction White Card
  • First Aid / Fire Warden training
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Have the ability to build relationships and rapport with all levels of staff & clients
  • Be able to travel when required
