The Role:
The Site Supervisor position is a key leadership position within the Group. You are responsible for coordinating and supervising a wide variety of projects, so communication is the key. In this diverse role, you will be expected to travel and be responsible for the overall delivery of WIH. Often working autonomously, you will be overseeing the day-to-day supervision of the team and coordinating all projects from commencement to completion. You will need to be confident when addressing large groups, be well organised and very adaptable. Being approachable and respectful of others and your environment will add to your success.
This position reflects the benchmark in expertise, leadership, client engagement and satisfaction for the Johns Lyng Group.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Cost reporting to ensure all financial objectives are met.
Implement construction programs and monitor progress of jobs.
Ensure all contract obligations are met.
Improve current construction timeframes.
Ensure compliance with all OH&S and building regulations.
Onboarding contractors and managing performance.
Quality assurance and escalation management.
Resolve any issues in construction within a timely manner.
Ensure correct documentation / information is communicated to stakeholders.
Manage staff performance and provide guidance and leadership.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

Key Selection Criteria:
Carpentry / Building Trade background highly regarded, however not essential.
Excellent communication skills - both written & verbal.
Ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.
Strong customer service skills.
Previous experience as a Construction Manager
Background in Commercial Construction or Large Loss Insurance Building
Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client.
Familiarity with OHS practices, legislation & regulations & current market rates.
Good work ethic & highly motivated.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities.
Current and valid motor vehicle licence.
