JOB DESCRIPTION
EMC Civil are specialists in the formwork, reinforcing and concrete pours of regular and complex infrastructure projects including road, rail, services structures and more.
We are seeking experienced Carpenters for immediate start. Experience working on large civil infrastructure projects and reinforced concrete structures an advantage.
Must have a minimum of three years' verifiable experience -
- measuring, marking, cutting, shaping and assembling timber to specifications
- reading and interpreting technical drawings
- identifying defects and performing repairs
- installing fittings and fixtures
- assembling and fastening materials to make framework;
- installing structures and shutters
- constructing formwork
- erecting and working safely with scaffolding
- connect shutters via z-bars
- constructing chutes for pouring concrete
- striking and stacking shutters
- identifying required materials
This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of $60,000 plus superannuation
