About Them

Our client, one of Australia’s most recognisable industrial brands, is looking for a Regional Health and Safety Manager - Southern, to support their significant presence encompassing Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.


About the Role

They require an experienced leader to execute on the H&S strategy in order to enable significant targeted growth to be achieved, whilst delivering enhanced performance and culture, and effectively managing risk.

Key will be:


  • Ability to work with senior regional leaders to translate and implement the H&S strategy, delivering year on year improvement culture impact across the business
  • Support the region on the change journey to understand and implement a risk-based approach, and ensure the requisite systems and processes are in place to support this
  • Drive consistent standards and expectations across the businesses in your region
  • Implement improvement programs to improve performance and create an effective and inclusive H&S culture across the organisation
  • Identify, share and implement continuous improvement initiatives/best practice and lessons learnt
 
About You

To be effective in this position you will bring:


  • Strengths in senior H&S operational leadership, change management and the ability to implement this change with true impact
  • A progressive mindset as it relates to your functional area, balancing real outcomes with regard performance, culture and risk management across large operational footprint
  • Your ability to engage as a peer and contribute to the broader business
  • Experience working within high risk, heavy industrial environments is highly regarded
