Quinn Allan are partnering exclusively with a National Technology organisation who has a new opportunity for a motivated Level 2 Support Engineer to join their professional and friendly team!

Based in the CBD providing free onsite parking, you will ideally need to have prior experience in IT advice and strategy and confidence in diagnosing and troubleshooting a broad variety of complex technical issues. You will have exceptional customer service skills and demonstrated experience within a technical support engineer environment.

About you

  • Exceptional technical support customer service skills & demonstrated experience within a Service Desk environment.
  • A great communicator. Be known for your outstanding customer service and taking ownership of customer technical issues to get them resolved.
  • Ideally having a minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Monitoring and managing the service desk incidents and requests using ConnectWise.
  • Prioritising and actioning against agreed SLAs.
  • User lifecycle management from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Assisting and/or managing cloud migration projects (Office 365 & Azure)
  • Troubleshoot and maintaining Windows and Desktop application issues, including Azure, Citrix and Microsoft 365 applications such as Exchange Online and SharePoint.
  • Networking Setup & troubleshooting (Switching, Routers, Firewalls) (including VLANs and WIFI) HP\Meraki\Sophos.
  • Desktop Hardware & Applications Support & troubleshooting.
  • Liaise with third party support parties and vendors to assist support activities.
  • Patching and upgrading hardware and software, both independently and in conjunction with external providers.
  • Stay current with technological developments in systems administration and advise of areas of improvements and relevant new products and services.
