Join an elite construction team!

Your new company

Your new company is an elite concreting company in the Hobart area who have won several big projects over the coming months with a top construction company. You will be joining a team of 26 people on the ground who pride themselves on having a supportive team culture. Working with state-of-the-art concreting machines, you will have all the infrastructure you need to make your work efficient and seamless across the sites you will work on.

Your new role

Your new role is based in on residential and commercial building sites where you will be working alongside several colleagues. A typically day will involve:

Complete concrete preparation and reinforcement
Complete basic to complex prep work
Complete a quality finish to concrete by hand, screed and machine
Work on concrete stairs and kerbs
Operate a ride-on machine
Cutting concrete / removal
Knowledge in the safe use of hand/power tools and equipment required to perform tasks

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong work ethic, positive and proactive attitude and show reliability and consistency to work. As well as:

Building Construction experience
A white card
Ability to read plans
Supporting references
Reliable vehicle
Be able to pass all pre-employment medical requirements
A reasonable level of fitness in order to undertake a variety of tasks that may involve labouring duties

What you'll get in return

You will have the opportunity to work in a prestigious organization with the potential of ongoing work. You will receive an above award rate, a 2% contribution into your Tasbuild fund and a 9.5% contribution to the superfund of your choice. You will work regular hours Monday to Friday typically from 07:00 to 15:30 and receive weekly pay.
