Job

This full-time role will be based from Lidcombe. Working in conjunction with our Maintenance and Facilities Manager and an outstanding team, the successful applicant will have a diverse and exciting range of duties and will suit a Jack or Jill of all trades. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to perform preventative and scheduled maintenance activities to a high standard, minimizing plant down-time and improving productivity across the seafood processing facility. 

As our in-house electrician, you will have strong knowledge of state specific codes and standards with experience in a similar role in a food manufacturing facility. Playing your part in the Maintenance team, you will be amazing at, but not limited to, low and extra low voltage fault findings, mechanical fault findings, scheduled inspections/periodic audits, and routine repairs, maintenance & capital works projects across the facility as required. 

You

  • A current Australian Electrical Licence/ Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Trade 3 Certificate
  • Knowledge and experience in automated/semi-automated machinery
  • Low & extra low voltage troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge/experience in contemporary operation of food processing equipment
  • Hold full working rights 
  • Available to start immediately (desirable) 
  • A current drivers license
