Senior Process Architect

Westpac Group - Sydney, NSW

Source: uWorkin

Group Operations (GO) Digital’s objective is to enable customer centric process excellence, simplification and digitisation and bring this together with intelligent automation delivery. We assist GO process owners by defining the business problem and benefits; bringing to bear our COE capabilities; and supporting our Delivery team who use a range of options such as Organisational Change, BPR, workflow, BluePrism RPA and Pega RDA.

This is an exciting role helping to enable Westpac to achieve its strategic goals, business objectives and Digital outcomes.

How will I help?

The Senior Process Architect reports to the Transformation Pipeline Manager. Your role is to engage with our internal customers (from Heads of, through to their process SMEs) to help them drive the transformation agenda: they have the business need, and you will break this down to define the problems and benefits, and work with our architects and COE capabilities who define solution options for our Delivery team to execute.

You will be a strong and positive communicator who will take engagement pain away from our internal customers. You will have a record of gainful delivery. You will create the business case for change – including risk reduction and CX – and balance considerations such as rapid execution through to a re-imagined future state. You will be experienced in leading assessment squads but also will be hands on for where you are the sole engagement point.

We are looking for change doers with a business perspective and who can bring forward new solution patterns. Qualifications and demonstrated capability would span solution architecture, Lean 6 sigma, digitisation and automation. The problems you scope and solution packaging can range from focussed robotic solutions or process improvement, through to capability swap out and E2E process re-engineering.

What do I need?

  • Highly practiced in Lean Six Sigma
  • Process re-engineering knowledge and ability to enable Risk reduction, CX improvement, quality, speed, flexibility and reliability
  • Background in solution architecture, Lean 6 sigma, digitisation and automation capabilities
  • 5+ years in Architecture, 5+ years in Lean, 2+ years in Robotics Process Automation
  • Superior Stakeholder Management and Presentation skills with the confidence to engage, influence and drive change to our Senior Leadership team
  • Understanding of constraints that make a process automatable and how to overcome those constraints
  • Background in Financial Services or Consulting (Process or Architecture) will be highly advantageous
