The Opportunity

Increasing demand for engineering design services in Brisbane has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced to senior-level Structural Drafter to join our Power & Resources team. This is a great career opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team who are focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients across a range of market sectors.

What you’ll do:

  • Working within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a range of structural engineering design projects, including concrete and steel structures for materials handling, process and maintenance facilities, and other mine infrastructure
  • Daily use of AutoCAD and a range of 2D and 3D and structural packages
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of CAD technical standards and workflows
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be committed to team approach and outcomes
  • Supporting the wider resources team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents

What we’ll love about you:

  • Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD (essential), Advance Steel (preferred)
  • Experience with Navisworks, Inventor and Revit not essential but highly regarded
  • Previous mining/industrial infrastructure experience not essential but highly regarded
  • Experience with executing BIM and 3D modelling project delivery methods
  • Familiarity with steelwork detailing and associated software would be highly regarded
  • Experience in CAD modelling of steel and concrete structures
  • 5-10 years’ experience
