A Procurement Transformation Consultant assists clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of procurement application packaged solutions. They use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients' business environment in order to achieve client expected business results.

Required Education And Experience

Minimum 10 years SAP Ariba / S/4HANA experience with a proven track record of consistent achievement in a senior consultant and/or delivery lead role.

Have worked with at least 2 of the following modules: Ariba SLM, Guided Buying APC & Catalogues, Collaborative Commerce, Supply Chain Collaboration, Supplier Management, Source to Contracts

Strong consulting skills, including analytical thinking, problem solving, and superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to effectively engage with clients and others

Proven record of guiding and supporting team members to achieve the overall customer objectives.

Must have broad knowledge of the development life cycle.

Ability to gain confidence with the customer and an ability to influence at multiple levels

Preferred Skills

Functional Consultant that include other SAP modules, preferably SAP SCM & MM

Good in depth and all-round knowledge of the Energy, Utilities and Oil and Gas industries

Experience delivering SAP Ariba Solutions, and SAP Ariba Upstream Solutions specifically, for customers within Australia or New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and co-ordinating all work for a Procurement workstream and aligning activities to the wider program.

Identifying Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for the project with the customer and aligning workstreams to maximize value.

Leading business workshops – As-Is analysis and solution design sessions.

Providing guidance and recommendations on best practice implementation decisions and approaches.

Supporting other project team members to deliver necessary work

Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success

Design, develop, and configure software systems to meet client requirements either end-to-end from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the software product or system or for a specific phase of the lifecycle.

Provide guidance on strategies, requirements specifications, and functional specifications, which meet customer requirements and project standards

Lead the development of the application architecture, technology selection and detail application specifications

Closely work with other teams to ensure tight alignment of objectives and expectations.

Manage ISV and IBM teams to ensure that the developed solution matches the required solution

Define and monitor issues, dependencies, risks and risk mitigation strategies

Monitor and assesses the quality of the deliverables

Facilitate development of reuse opportunities
