JOB DESCRIPTION
This Program will be the single biggest infrastructure project in South Australia’s history, and will deliver the final piece of the North-South Corridor. This missing link is the 10.5 kilometre section between the River Torrens and Darlington, which will deliver Adelaide’s only cross-city motorway and 78 kilometres of non-stop free flowing motorway.
The Digital Engineering Manager will be responsible for providing direction and support to senior management and key Departmental staff for the development of digital engineering during the planning, procurement and delivery phases of the North-South Corridor Project. The successful candidate will have experience in the establishment and use of digital engineering for significant linear infrastructure projects, have a strong working knowledge of building information modelling (BIM) technology and have an ability to build strong working relationships. To be considered for this role, we are seeking applications from dynamic leaders with extensive technical knowledge, high integrity and demonstrated resilience in a changing environment.
Special Conditions
The role is classified as a position of trust and will be subjected to a satisfactory criminal history record check in line with departmental policies and procedures.
Some out of hours and weekend work will be required. Some intra/interstate travel may be required.
Tenure of Vacancy
Temporary appointment up to 3 years
