Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Work location: Solomon Ex Perth
Roster: 8 days on and 6 days off
Fortescue Metals Group are presently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Solomon OPF Engineering team
Key accountabilities will include:
- Breakdown support
- Provide technical support to Electrical Maintenance team
- Perform root cause analysis, mitigate reoccurrence of breakdown
- Manage small to medium size project, overlooking project delivery
- Being a safety leader and engage with personnel to drive a Zero Harm culture.
- Creating executable maintenance and operations plans, with all required resources, services, materials and spares.
- Becoming a leader in FMG Asset Management Processes.
- Monitoring Asset Management KPI's, identify gaps in performance and recommend actions to resolve.
Qualifications and skills required:
- 5 year’s experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within a ore processing fixed plant environment Previous project management experience
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in variable speed drive fault finding
- Experience in power system analysis
- Demonstrated competency in use of SAP
