Due to planned future growth in SE Queensland, we are currently seeking an experienced Residential Building Construction Supervisor .

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be expected to perform the following tasks:

• Build homes in accordance with plans, specifications, and company construction policies and procedures
• Maintaining site safety and cleanliness
• Ensuring work is completed to a satisfactory standard
• Scheduling trades and materials according to workflow requirements
• Ensuring that the Health and Safety of all worksites are at optimal levels
• Building within contracted timeframes
• Conduct maintenance as required
• Attending weekly construction meeting
• Client liaison and customer service always to be delivered at the highest expectation

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• QBCC Building Supervisors license
• A Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• A current Queensland drivers license
• A minimum of 5 years residential construction experience in a supervisory capacity
• A trade qualification
• Ability to provide leadership and motivation
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams of sub-contractors
• An ability to ensure that jobs are scheduled effectively and are managed within budget and time specifications.
• Computer literacy - the use of framework would be advantageous
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Confidence and ability in dealing with a diverse range of people
• Strong client liaison skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
• Ability to act with tact and confidentiality
• Good communication skills, including oral and written communication
• A passion to produce a high quality of work
• Strong working knowledge of local building codes
