Your team’s mission?

The Security Domain is tasked with making ANZ a safe and more secure place by ensuring our corporate and customer information is secured. The Security Domain has group-wide accountability for providing functional and thought leadership for information security and provides advice, guidance and the right tools to enable everyone in ANZ to protect our information. ​

In addition, the Security Domain ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and systems and protects them from security threats and other risks associated with the use of Technology. We have excellent Cyber Defence and Information Protection teams who build and operate sophisticated security capability and provide policy, standards, advice and education across ANZ and to our Customers to enable the safe use of new and innovative digital technologies.

As a Security Partner, you will collaborate with the business, technology to ensure that security is prioritised and understood. Ideally you will have experience working in a large, complex corporate environment. Banking & Finance experience is not essential.

As a Security Partner, you’ll help to deliver this by having:

  • Deep understanding of security architecture, with the ability to develop, evaluate and review as well as design secure solutions which facilitate scalability, extensibility and reusability
  • Knowledge and understanding of threat modelling methodologies and common tactics, techniques and procedures in agile environments
  • Develop and maintain re-usable security architecture and design patterns for consumption
  • Strong understanding of attack vectors and ability to design and articulate security controls in an agile environment to protect against them
  • Ability to articulate complex technical designs into requirements for consumption by delivery squads
  • Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements such as CPS234
  • Familiarity, demonstrated knowledge and experience in securing cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Container, and infrastructure as code deployments
  • Industry / academic accreditations / certifications in Security, Architecture, Cloud or Technology disciplines preferred (e.g. CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, AWS, GCP, Bachelor Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • A willingness to develop an in-depth understanding of different technology stacks across the bank
  • Influence business by becoming key, trusted security advisor to senior stakeholder groups (Tech Area Leads, Tribe Leads etc.) as well as various tribe members
