We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to join our team!

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager

, our Building Manager will be integral in the effective

management of the Caretaking Agreement and upkeep of a busy building.

This role will see you working closely with all stakeholders to ensure the effective and smooth operation of th

e

complex and oversee ongoing management of all facilities.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Our ideal candidate will have an extensi v e background in facilities management or senior maintenance with proven experience in a strata environment , w ith the ability to build strong relationships with body corporates.
  • Technically your capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, along with your ability to maintain a preventative maintenance schedule and fault find to a high level will be highly regarded.
  • The ability to self manage is a must, and a relevant trade qualification would be highly regarded.
  • This role is hands on, you will have tools at hand for maintenance work and will oversee the Public Area cleaners to ensure cleanliness remains at a high standard across all common areas.

Your responsibilities include:


  • Producing Building Managers Reports for the Body Corporate / Owner Corporation
  • Sourcing quotations and work specifications as per the Committee’s request
  • Manage and undertake preventative maintenance tasks
  • Observing and policing the Properties By laws, ensuring that compliance is met and breaches are resolved
  • Managing all Body Corporate registers
Ensure that all plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard

To be successful in this role you will have:


  • Experience in strata and working with body corporates
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce and interpret high quality reports
  • A strong understanding of hotel building operations
  • The ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional disposition
  • Excellent

leadership and

communication skills with the ability

to build rapport with a diverse range of people
