ACCIONA is now looking for a Site Engineer, reporting to the Project Manager and located in Sydney. As the Site Engineer, you will ensure the effective coordination and control of engineering works for a designated project through activities of a technical and engineering, naturel based on ACCIONA standards. As the preferred Site Engineer you are responsible to ensure effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and all other project activities relevant to work crew. 

Your key objectives are, but not limited to:

• Prepare construction plans and work procedures for the project and be familiar with specifications, concepts, drawings, methods and models as needed

• Produce engineering documents through studying drawings and reports and developing construction specifications, plans and schedules

• Provide estimates and forecasting of the project, monitor construction budgets, and perform financial control to the project’s requirements

• Propose improvements for the project through technical modifications, and actively solve problems by implementing engineering solutions

• Assist the Project Engineer with development of construction planning documents and monitor implementation

• Continually assesses the project for high risk activities and hazards and in conjunction with appropriate personnel recommends measures to control those hazards and associated risks

To be successful in this opportunity you will have completed a few years’ experience in a similar role post a qualification in Engineering. You also possess knowledge/experience on City of Sydney and TFNSW standards and its application to Third parties’ agreements with other stakeholders. Also, you should demonstrate a good level of competency with Snagmaster and Teambinder software to comply with ACCIONA Defects Management Systems.
