JOB DESCRIPTION

About The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team based in Rouse Hill. You will work across our MTS and NIF maintenance projects and achieve optimum production and cost outcomes through the management of direct labour and subcontractors in a healthy and safe work environment. You will also be responsible for:

  • Technical Engineering requirements of the maintenance team and high-level investigations
  • Managing subcontractors
  • Preparing design briefs
  • Estimating, tenders and pricing
  • Reviews and reporting


About You

You drive a strong ‘Safety First’ culture and have extensive experience working on large engineering maintenance projects. You also possess:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • Experience working in an Operational Rail / Tunnel environment highly desirable
  • A proven motivated and collaborative leader
  • Working knowledge of Asset Management best practise and technical investigation
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to write investigation reports, scopes of work and provide recommendation for repair for asset failures
  • Excellent negotiation skills
