The School of Engineering Design and Built Environment at Western Sydney University has an opening for two lecturers (level B positions) in Construction Management (CM). Western offers a number of programs in the CM area including Bachelor of Construction Management (honours) major in Quantity Surveying and Building Surveying, Bachelor of Building Design management and Bachelor of Construction Technology. These programs currently have more than 1600 students enrolled.
In this position you will be expected to conduct research and be able to teach students within the broad area of construction management. Areas of specialisation may include quantity surveying, project management, design management with specific skills in sustainable construction, construction simulation, digital construction, project delivery, construction scheduling, contract administration, estimating.
You must have a strong track record in teaching and research in these areas. You will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum and undertake the supervision of honours and master’s students.

There are 2 x full-time, ongoing roles available. Both positions are based at the Parramatta South campus.
Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $125,306 to $147,860 p.a., (comprising Salary of $105,885 to $125,030 p.a., plus 17% Superannuation and Leave Loading).
