The Opportunity

Comply with all role specific SHEQ obligations.
Manage own project with revenue of over $100K or manage a task in a larger project .
Lead and foster a good safety culture to ensure the safety and well-being of all staff within the Rail team, including taking a lead role on implementing and improving Safety in Design processes.
Partner with client facing representatives across Company to ensure full implementation of market and client strategies, creating high levels of client service and opportunity.
Lead and undertake development activities of staff to help them realise their potential,.
Accountable for embedding Project Controls, Contracts Administration, Construction Management and Cost Planning into Projects systems and processes.
Accountable for meeting (or exceeding) the project objectives (scope, time, cost, SHEQ etc).
Accountable for undertaking contractor management activities as required to deliver high quality project delivery services.
Take Pursuit and/or Proposal Manager roles as required on proposals to lead and influence the success to internal and external clients.
Responsible for deploying risk management and change management principles & methodologies into Project systems and processes.

Experience, skills and organisational knowledge

Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification and relevant technical, commercial experience and demonstrated leadership.
Typically, 10+ years experience.
Proven experience in delivering large infrastructure projects and is recognised in the industry as a leader.
Experience working with public and private sector processes and clients (as appropriate to project).
Built and maintained client relationships.
Established a professional profile within the industry.
Proven track record in managing projects through the full spectrum of the of project life cycle and delivering on time and to budget
Experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects to quality, time and within budget.
Established processes for identifying, managing and monitoring risks to project oCompanyomes in particular safety management and design.
Established systems for project files/records, documents, data control and tracking compliance to business systems.
Led and managed others.
Experience in resourcing and managing a wide range of professional disciplines and subcontractors in a project.
Expertise in managing medium to large size project budgets and using financial tools successfully.
Experience in managing change.
Experience in creating a project culture aligned to our values yet distinct to individual projects and project oCompanyomes.
Experience in writing and managing the production of quality reports and documents.
