JOB DESCRIPTION

Engineering (Welding) Fabrication Apprenticeship available for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person in Brisbane.

Our client is a market leader in modular construction delivering prefabricated building solutions. With locations throughout Australia there are future opportunities for advancement within the company.

Duties would include the fabrication of materials required to build a home or other premises as well as specialising in the preparation and installation of pre-fabricated units. You would develop skills in the use of power tools, become very safety conscious and have the satisfaction of seeing your projects come to term.

To apply for this apprenticeship you will:

  • Be able to demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Have a drivers licence
  • Be able to demonstrate via previous employment or activities, reliability and punctuality
  • Be prepared to commit to a four year apprenticeship
  • Be willing to study to complete the Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication.
  • Be willing to comply with relevant Workplace health and safety procedures and standards.
