$80K - $85K per annum + Allowances + Super

Council is seeking a Building Certifier to provide a high level of service to builders and customers. This role is responsible for the assessment of building works and administration of the relevant building regulations, legislation, standards, and Codes for the Region. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience and ability to conduct inspections and investigations, well developed communication and computer skills as well as the ability to coordinate work to meet deadlines and establish priorities.

Mandatory:

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Advanced Diploma or Diploma of Building Inspection/ Surveying or Bachelor of Building Surveying).
• Accreditation as a Building Certifier at Level 2.
• Minimum requirement of a current C Class driver’s licence.
• Maintained the required professional development relevant to Licences in Building Certification.
• Swimming Pool Safety Inspector Licence issued by the Pool Safety Council.
• General Safety Induction for Construction Worker Certification (White Card).
