ABOUT THE COMPANY. 

This company is a boutique, medium size, Building Services engineering consultancy specialising in Mechanical, Electrical, Audio Visual, Hydraulic and Fire services. They have multiple offices throughout Australia and have strong client relationships across the property sector. 
 
ABOUT THE POSITION. 

We are looking to groom and mentor future leaders. This is a rare position, suitable for someone who is driven to become a Director and has a strong desire to learn how to run a business. You will work as an Engineer, designing and managing your own projects and will be groomed into management, learning about how business functions operate (marketing, accounts, legal etc) allowing you to build your commercial understanding. 

DUTIES. 

  • Mechanical Services design for Building Services projects
  • Liaise and coordinate with Clients, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and multi-discipline teams 
  • Attend meetings and conduct site inspections 
  • Develop Mechanical Services reports 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES. 

  • Good technical understanding of HVAC Building Services design/the NCC 
  • Ability to perform under pressure and to manage your own time 
  • Strong communication and client management skills 
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering 
  • Previous experience managing your own projects 
  • Business acumen
