United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody who have developed a brownfields expansion that combines a new open cut at United Collieries with the existing open cut of Wambo. UWJV is a Glencore managed operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you will safely and effectively maintain heavy earth moving equipment to a high standard and quality required to meet target outputs.

It is essential that you have a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or an equivalent qualification with previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.

Be part of an exciting phase as we acquire the latest generation of mining equipment including the new generation of Komatsu 930E electric drive trucks, Caterpillar auxiliary fleet, a Liebherr 9800 excavator and the first Liebherr 9600 in the world!
