About the role

Travellers Aid service users include people with a permanent disability, temporary impairment or those with age-related mobility challenges who require assistance when travelling.

We are looking for a Site Supervisor who can maintain and oversee our Flinders St Station site and services. You will be providing hands-on support to our services users, including connection assistance and personal care assistance, as well as guiding a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

  • Whilst primarily located at Flinders St Station, you will also work at our Southern Cross Station site and pop-up sites, as applicable. Some weekend and evening availability is required.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working with people with disabilities, older people and people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience overseeing and/or guiding staff/volunteers
  • Personal care qualification or equivalent at the level of Certificate Ill or greater, such as Certificate IV in Disability studies or nursing studies essential
