Our client is currently seeking trade assistant/labourers to prepare vessels for the application of lining by scraping, or painting interior surfaces and ensuring that sandblasting has been completed appropriately

• Day Shift
• Melbourne Location
• $29 an hour + overtime penalties+ superannuation
• 2-3 weeks work 6 days a week
• 10-12 hour days

The Role

Preparing vessels for application of lining by scraping, or painting interior surfaces and ensuring that sandblasting has been completed appropriately.

· Ensure the rubber lining process is effective and safe

· Ensure proper training of all rubber lining staff on the safe usage of all machinery and equipment

· Prior experience as a rubber liner and knowledge of rubber products (desirable)

· Willingness, flexibility, and ability to undertake remote site work, work overtime including weekends when required.

· Drivers Licence, scaffolding ticket, confined space ticket, working at heights, dogging & rigging and overhead crane (desirable)

· A positive "can do" attitude, working both in a team and autonomously.

· Attention to detail.

· A proactive attitude and approach towards Health and Safety.
