JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking applications from Graduate Landscape Architects interested in developing their career in a lively Newcastle-based design practice. By becoming part of our design team, you will be exposed to a diverse range of projects from playgrounds, and parkland master plans to town centres, commercial and residential developments and visual impact assessment for renewable energy projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Clients and fellow Consultants and be involved in all aspects of project development. As part of our team you will influence and shape our local communities. Our work extends from Newcastle to metropolitan areas of Sydney through to the regional centers and townships of inland and coastal NSW. We foster a culture of diversity, inclusion and development. We are looking for full-time candidates with: • A degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent • 1-5 years’ relevant experience in Visual Impact Assessments desirable • Proficient in Vectorworks/AdobeCC/Sketchup • Experience in ArcGIS and Windpro would be advantageous • Ability to work collaboratively with our design team • Enthusiasm about progressive and innovative problem solving through design • Confident written and verbal communication skills • Willingness to develop their professional capabilities in a friendly and dynamic work environment • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident with a current Australian Driver’s License The salary banding for this position is $55,000 - $60,000.
