About The Role
As the Tech Area Architect for Identity & Access Management, you will be accountable for designing simple and secure ways for our employees to perform their role within the bank, by developing and maintaining identification, authentication and authorization capabilities. You will define the architecture for the Identity & Access Management Technology Area. You will plan the architectural runway to support upcoming sprints, design/evaluate solutions and provide technical expertise to squads.
Your key responsibilities will include-
- Collaboratively define the Solution Overview within the Technology Area for Identity Lifecycle Management, Single Sign On / MFA, Privileged Access and Secrets Management.
- Manage complex dependencies across Products, Epics and Solution components, promote reuse across squads and drive overall simplification
- Develop and support the use of architecture guard rails - patterns, principles, reference models etc.
- Develop integration models, data flows, and understand security control requirements
- Maintain ownership and leadership of design thinking and outcomes for Identity & Access Management Technology Area.
- As an SME consulted by various groups across the enterprise regarding new technologies and their implications from an Identity and Access Management perspective
- Ensure that the Identity & Access Management Architecture roadmap aligns to the ANZ Enterprise Architecture, Security patterns and Cloud strategy.
- Keen interest in emerging technologies and scanning the market for technology opportunities so that it can assist in delivering better value
- Deep knowledge on identity and access management, to define architectural standards, DevOps engineering principles and technology roadmaps that meet business needs
- Influence, collaborate and negotiate with cross-tribe stakeholders to inform their decision making
- Ideally you’ll bring a deep understanding of Cloud Platforms, and expertise in designing and implementing complex identity and access management solutions
- Have a clear understanding of the compliance and regulatory impacts to the proposed solutions
- Strong skills in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs (current and future)
- Good communicator and problem solver that can understand and translate business needs into strategic technology roadmaps and architectural principles
- Committed to improving the Security Engineering Culture within ANZ through training events, articles and being generally active in the engineering community
- Extensive Experience in Identity and Access Management
- IAM platforms - Identity IQ, CyberArk, Ping, HashiCorp
- Federation (SAML, OIDC, OAUTH)
- Experience with Identity & Access Management technologies
- Experience with continuous integration/delivery.
- Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
- Ability to use open source technologies and tools
