THE ROLE

The Mechanical Designer/Engineer position is to prepare quality technical documents for use on projects. Documents include 3D Models, Engineering Drawings, Condition Reports, Progress Reports, Safe Work Procedures, and Engineering Calculations.

Duties Include

Provide assistance to the Engineering department to:

• Cost summary to track the project budget.
  Recommend changes and enhancements to systems and processes to improve performance.
• Manage the review, amendment and approval process of documents
• Prepare condition and progress reports and update the reports on a weekly basis as the work progresses.
• Prepare other technical documents including Safety documents, work procedures, commissioning procedures etc.
• Speak with Engineers and Technicians and update on progress
  
  

Ideally seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer/Drafter/Engineer with technical experience in designing and manufacturing mechanical structures/systems

Computing Skills

• MS Word,
• Outlook
• Excel
• Autocad
• 3D modelling experience
• Creo Elements, Catia or similar
• Own vehicle and licence
