What's the opportunity?
Our Clean TeQ Water team is growing! We are actively seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to the newly created role of Technical Sales Engineer. The successful candidate will join our Notting Hill team and support the work-winning process from initial sales enquiry through the development of customised technical sales proposals. The role requires someone with a strong commercial sense and a focus on sound engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and provide technical support for resolving customer challenges;
- Assess suitability of future project s for Clean TeQ technology;
- Develop integrated technical and initial commercial proposals in line with company processes;
- Collaborate with Process Engineering and R&D to ensure that the technical solution is sound and feasible;
- Evaluate competitiveness of CLQ solution versus other solutions in the market;
- Provide ideas on how to expand and improve the Clean TeQ offering based on market analysis;
- Provide technical support to the Business Development activities;
- Interact with customer during sales process;
- Occasional site visits as required.
Skills and Experience
- Degree qualification in Engineering (or related STEM field studies);
- Previous experience in process design, or within a technical role with an aptitude to solving problems
- Drive and enthusiasm to succeed
- High level of self-motivation and interest in water & environmental sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to waste water treatment or special chemical industry would be an advantage
- Experience writing technical engineering proposals.
