JOB DESCRIPTION

eStorm Australia is a well established IT company providing managed IT support services for over 15 years. We are an extremely agile and dynamic company operating across many Industries and delivering IT solutions through a range of vendors.

Constantly evolving and always learning, we are searching for a motivated senior technician to join our talented team and take the journey with us.

You will be self-managed, highly organised and familiar with client facing roles; aware that communication with the client is just as important as your technical skills and know how. You will have a desire to keep up to date with the ever changing IT world and see the value in working in a company that gives you exposure to a wide range of technology and experiences.

Technology / Skills Required:

  • 3+ years working at a managed service provider or equivalent client-facing service experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Windows Desktop
  • Demonstrated experience with MacOS 
  • Experience with Virtualisation Technologies (HyperV, VMware vSphere)
  • NAS and SAN administration experience.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN networking including firewalls, VPN, VLANs and wifi
  • Knowledge and working experience with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and other cloud vendors
  • Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft 365

Also desirable, but not essential, is experience in:

  • Sophos Firewalls 
  • ConnectWise ticketing system
  • Microsoft SharePoint
  • IP Telephony
  • PRTG Network Monitoring System (NMS)
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • CRM Systems
  • Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, AWS and other relevant vendors will be highly regarded
